I really like hamburgers. Anyone that knows me, knows this. There is just something regarding a seasoned patty of beef between two slices of toasted bread, with cheese along with other assorted toppings which makes me salivate like Homer Simpson. So it’s from a labor of love that I list the very best hamburgers served at chain restaurants across the nation. It’s best not to list them in any particular order as I would hate to start a war.
Red Robin – A national chain, they promise to offer you “Gourmet Hamburgers,” and it’s not very not even close to the truth. They begin having a ½ pound Angus beef patty and then it’s a king-sized selection of the way you want it garnished. Consider using a Banzai, a Guacamole Bacon or Prime Chophouse to begin. Or invent your very own combination. Oh yeah, they also have unlimited fries. You might have been warned.
whataburger prices – Originally a Texas chain, Whataburger has spread through the South and it also making its way North. The burger is an approximately 5″ wide, pressed-flat, ¼ fresh beef patty that when cooked perfectly, includes a slight crispiness round the edges. What sets it apart is in fact the bread, also fresh and toasted perfect. And they serve fries through the bag!
White Castle – If you have a Castle in your neighborhood, you may be surprised to see this on the list. However, if you don’t, absence makes the heart grow fonder (I swear.) The “Original Slider” is actually a relatively small burger, about 2″ square. It has grilled onions, pickles and is also served over a dinner roll. A burger you order in sets of 4 or 5, it really is a perfect ending to a night of bar hopping.
Five Guys – Were only available in Virginia inside the 80’s, Five Guys is now nationwide and thank goodness for your. It’s information on “fresh” and “peanuts” along with them. The beef is always fresh (no freezers inside the store) and seasoned perfectly. They use peanut oil for your fries and offer free peanuts to customers whilst they wait. Although a bit expensive for a chain, in this particular case you receive everything you buy, absolutely delicious.
https://www.whataburger.com/ – Primary a western US chain, Fatburger is quickly spreading east. The burgers are ordered like t-shirts; S- – Just Published..L (2.5oz – 24oz.) Delicious? You bet! Bigger doesn’t always mean better, nevertheless in this case… it does. The shakes and fries are great, but it’s the burger that brings you back.
Steak ‘n Shake – National chain of 24 / 7 restaurants using a 50’s diner feel, S ‘n S serves an excellent, thin hamburger that will force you to order a second. The fries really are a little underwhelming, but the burgers (and chili, and shakes, and baked beans) make up for it. Hmm, a chili burger?
Cheesecake Factory – I know, you actually didn’t anticipate seeing this one here. Well, unless you’ve had the Farmhouse Burger, which is. 8 ounces of beef, with all the fixings. Then add pulled pork as well as a fried egg on the top! Unbelievably good and enough calories for any month. Totally well worth the extra money on a special event.
is whataburger open today – I said I wouldn’t pick a popular, but… In-N-Out is the king of all the fast food burgers in my humble opinion and it also truly saddens me there isn’t one within 500 miles of here. A western chain, In-N-Out serves a tiny menu however they allow it to be right. Delicious, seasoned beef patties and fresh buns are key, but it’s the entire package that makes it special. Fantastic fries and superior customer support allow it to be complete. The next occasion you’re gpnori Vegas…
So that’s my list, but I assure you that it is a continuing evaluation with updates ahead. Do you have a favorite burger i may have overlooked? Leave a comment below!
