Kennesaw State University (KSU) is a 4-year University of Georgia institution located in Kennesaw, Georgia, a suburb on Atlanta’ s northwest side. It was founded in 1963 as Kennesaw Junior College with an enrollment of one thousand students. In 1976 the name was changed to Kennesaw College as it became a 4-year institution. It was renamed Kennesaw State University in 1996. With an enrollment of over 24,000 graduate and undergraduate students, KSU Portal is the third largest university in the Georgia system.
The university’s 240 acre campus includes class room buildings, an athletic complex, students middle, parking decks, and 4 condominium housing buildings. You will find 3,500 students located in university real estate. Shuttle buses provide transport across the university.
